All Hair Apprenticeship Training is conducted work-based in a reputable commercial salon, working as part of the salon team and supported by dedicated training sessions at one of Francesco Hair Salon’s Academies, located in Birmingham, Poole or Stafford.
Hair Professional Course Content:
• Client care and consultation • Team working • Shampooing, conditioning and treating the hair • Ladies cutting • Hair colouring • Styling the hair
Plus one of the following optional units:
• Perming Hair • Relaxing Hair • Hair extensions
The FG Apprenticeships Hair Professional qualification incorporates functional skills units in Maths, English and ICT as well as completion of our industry-leading FG Apprenticeships Business Enterprise Project.
Assessment:
Throughout the course, Apprentices collect a portfolio of evidence for assessment. This consists of written, oral and observational practical evidence. At the end of the course, Apprentices undertake a mandatory End-Point-Assessment, carried out by City and Guilds or VTCT.
Entry Requirements:
Throughout the course, No formal entry requirements are necessary, we are looking for passionate and creative individuals who have an aspiration to be the best hairdresser they can be! Work experience within a salon environment is desirable, but not essential. Apprenticeships are offered following the FG Apprenticeships Recruitment Process, which includes online screening with our Recruitment Team and interviews and trials at employers hairdressing salons.
